#freemask uses digital communication to discuss how the lack and abuse of freedom of expression impacted Chinese people's lives domestically and overseas in the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic.

I worked for the VOA China branch in 2020, covering a video series about the 2022 election. The video series primarily focuses on Chinese American voters. Many videos became the most viewed on VOA social media platforms.

This animation video series was featured at the National Association for Media Literacy Education (NAMLE)’s 2021 Conference. In 2022, the Express Your Powe series was awarded as Bronze Winner by The Telly Awards in the Online- Series category.

As the 2nd camera person, I shot this fashion editorial piece for Harper's BAZAAR China. We went to the park and convinced strangers to be our magazine model for 15mins.

Since 2021, I have been following a group of Chinese feminists and documenting their activism in the US. My camera has captured some historical moments, such as the MeToo cases in China and anti-zero-COVID police protests.

A Hand is a short horror movie about a young lady who lives alone for the first time and locks herself in a closet on a moving day. After getting released, she runs into unnatural incidents that involve somebody she knows.
