#freemask Multimedia Art Project
#freemask is the Mixed Message 2020 Special Recognition for Multimedia Performance award work, includes portraits, performance art, fashion, and documentary. It discusses the challenges Chinese people are facing during the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) outbreak in the field of communication. The project showcases how the suppression of speech and the freedom of expression both caused problems around the same incident, and how human being responds to the problems.
Music Video: Song of Freedom
Song of Freedom is selected by Fine Cuts for 2020’s online film exhibition. Fine Cuts is an annual film festival of the School of Media Studies at The New School. Feilin is the director of photography of Song of Freedom.
